On your own social media accounts, regularly share and repost content created by Connect Our Kids, including news, updates, success stories, and fundraising campaigns
Engage.
Engage with your own followers and Connect Our Kids’ followers by responding to comments, liking and sharing relevant posts, and encouraging discussions around Connect Our Kids’ work.
Create.
Some ambassadors may wish to create original content related to Connect Our Kids’ mission. This could include videos, infographics, or other types of content that help educate and inspire others about why connection is important for children in foster care.
Support.
During specific fundraising or awareness campaigns, social media ambassadors may be asked to participate in coordinated efforts to amplify the campaign’s reach. This could involve using specific hashtags, participating in challenges, or organizing virtual events.
Network.
Direct toward Connect Our Kids individuals or organizations in your network who share a common interest in foster care reform, child welfare, and social work.

- Post a pic of a recipe, prepared dish, or an image that represents what “tastes like home” to you.
- In the caption, share the story of the recipe and why it means so much to you.
- Include this text:
Connect Our Kids’ Tastes Like Home campaign raises awareness for children in foster care who have experienced deep loss, including the loss of traditions–like beloved recipes–that shape identity and a sense of belonging.
