With Family Connections, you can build detailed family trees in minutes. Each family member is clearly color-coded to show their status:

  • Green – Potential Placement
  • Purple – Of Interest
  • Yellow – Highlight
  • Blue – Potential Support
  • Red – Unsafe or unsuitable

Integrated People Search

Finding the right connections is effortless. Family Connections includes a built-in people search tool that gathers contact information and public data for relatives. For example, you might locate an aunt or other extended family member who could provide support, whether that is through visiting, sharing family stories with the child, celebrating birthdays together, providing a potential placement if needed, or just being that special aunt. Once imported into the system, these new connections can expand the child’s support network and create more placement options.

Smart Filters and Workspaces

Family Connections provides filters and customizable workspaces to quickly evaluate a child’s support network and placement options. Teams can view broader networks, including mentors, school support, and community resources, helping ensure every child has a comprehensive support system.

The platform streamlines communication with direct emailing, calling, and mapping of addresses from within the system. Outreach efforts, follow-ups, and case notes are tracked centrally, making it easy for team members to pick up where others left off, even if someone is out sick.
